Dancers Don't Need Wings to Fly

Did you know that 30-40 million children participate in sports and extracurricular activities each year. Studies show that children who participate in these types of activities are less likely to be overweight, more likely to perform better in school, and learn valuable life skills like teamwork and persistence. However, these activities often come with a hefty price tag, leaving many children unable to participate.

The Arkansas Dance Center Parent Organization is a 501c3 non-profit group that raises funds to allow children to participate in dance and the arts that otherwise would not be able to. This group also provides scholarships to graduating seniors to pursue higher education. To date the group has given away thousands in college scholarships to members of our community. In the 2018-2019 school year we helped 28 children participate in dance.
